Formerly called International Head and Neck Cancer Working Group (IHNCWG) was established in 2022 by enthusiastic researchers from multiple universities including Teesside University (UK), universities in Africa, Asia and the United States of America. 

About Us

CHANCAFRICA is a group of academic, medical, social, and health professionals with multidisciplinary backgrounds and diverse institutional affiliations who are working together to curb the worrisome head and neck cancer trajectory in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Research Development Fellowship (RDF) 2023/2024

The Medical Research Foundation providing fellowship opportunities for talented health researchers based in Africa. The programme is designed to support African researchers who are working on important challenges for human health in Africa. So far, it has supported 65 health researchers with placements at world-class research institutions across Africa and Europe.
